About
Matt is an emerging UK based DoP from sunny Sussex. 2026 marks his debut feature film as cinematographer on indie romantic drama ‘The Last Time You Saw Me’, starring Chelsea Edge (Death in Paradise) and directed by Richard Mundy (Twenty-Twenty-Four).
Matt cut his teeth in the corporate and web video world for over a decade, filming for major brands throughout the UK and Europe including TUI, George Asda and Remy Martin. Alongside this, his crewing on independent feature films saw him progress to camera operator on psychological horror ‘Twenty Twenty-Four’, which featured on HBO Europe and Hulu. In 2011 he graduated from the Northern Film School.
With his attention to detail and ability to creatively problem-solve regardless of budget, Matt prioritises technique over technology. His mission is to create vibrant imagery that serves the story above all else.
